Yoga Kula is excited to be delivering its second Yoga Teacher Training Course starting in January 2019. Yoga Kula has been supporting yoga practitioners for almost 5 years and felt that now was the right time to begin to train more yoga innovators. At our core is community, providing a tonic for modern life and creating a positive ripple effect – we are so excited to pass on all we have learned about yoga and about teaching yoga professionally.

The Yoga Kula Teacher Training Course will offer the time, space, expert support and guidance for yoga practitioners to develop into professional and inspirational yoga teachers with an authentic and deeply personal offering. Our course will offer a chance for trainees to fully connect with and deepen their personal yoga practice and learn how to teach yoga from presence. This course will offer the opportunity for trainees to study a range of approaches to yoga which they can utilise in creating engaging yoga offerings once they begin teaching. The space time and space offered for trainees will enable them to truly discover what they want to take out and teach in their communities. This course is not only an opportunity to learn how to teach yoga but an opportunity to discover your inner power, confidence, potential and, with the support of an expert team, begin growing into an inspirational yoga teacher. During the course trainees will be supported to develop an area of particular interest and move deeper into that area, realise their uniqueness and begin refining their yoga offering.

  • Yoga Kula will offer up to 5 apprenticeships to successful graduates and offer support to all graduates who wish to become yoga teachers.
  • The time spent on the course will be an amazing opportunity to create strong and lasting bonds with your fellow trainees and move into the yoga teaching world with an existing network.
  • This course is also suitable for those who would like to deepen their existing yoga practice but do not necessarily wish to become teachers on graduation.
  • Trainees will be allocated a contact teacher and be placed in a study group – in this informal setting they can practice what they are learning, share and ask questions.

The Yoga Kula Teacher Training Course will be led by Senior Yoga Teacher Angela Sykes. Trainees will also be taught by inspirational Yoga Kula teachers and expert guest teachers.

Complaints Procedure

If any trainee is not satisfied by the way they have been treated or by the tuition received from Yoga Kula then they do have the right to complain.  All complaints will be investigated fully and fairly.  There are three stages to the procedure:

Stage One

In the first instance, it is the responsibility of the trainee to make an attempt to try and resolve the issue with teacher or individual involved or approach a member of Yoga Kula Staff.

Stage Two

If stage one is not resolved successfully the next stage of the process would be to make a complaint in writing to info@yogakulaleeds.co.uk or Yoga Kula, Suite 2a, Chapel Allerton House, 114 Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, LS7 4NY.

Your complaint will be acknowledged, in writing, as soon as possible and we will detail in our response the name, address and telephone number of the person who will be investigating the complaint.

Please detail within your written complaint whether you would like an advocate to be involved to support you through this process.

We will investigate your complaint and keep you informed, at regular intervals, as to how the investigation is progressing and of timescales where appropriate.  It may be necessary to ask for further information during the course of this investigation.

Following the conclusion of this investigation you will receive a written response which will include details of whether our complaint is being upheld or not and the reason for this decision.
