What my classes are like

I teach Hot Vinyasa Yoga and Restorative Yoga at Yoga Kula.
My Hot Vinyasa Flow classes are vigorous and fun explorations of this warming practice, with particular focus on correct alignment and a connection of mind, breath and body. Every Wednesday at 8pm
My Restorative Yoga class offer students much needed time for space, relaxation and deep rest. Each session provides a calming, holistic tonic to busy, modern living. Every Friday at 3:45pm.

My journey into yoga & therapy

I am a highly experienced bodywork practitioner with an international teaching profile that spans more than 20 years. My training and carrier in contemporary dance led me to a wonderful Iyengar yoga teacher in 2004. Since then, yoga has become an integral part of my daily life, both for personal well-being, as well as part of my teaching portfolio.

My study and credentials

In 2004 I began studying and training in Iyengar Yoga with Olop Arpipi in Indonesia. I completed my 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with Cassie Aitken of Global Yoga in the US and became a member of Yoga Alliance UK in 2010. I studied and certified in Yoga Nidra with Uma Dinsmore Tuli. In 2014 I obtained my Thai Yoga Massage certificate from The School Of Thai Yoga Massage, London, after training for 2 years with founder Kira Balaskan and Amy Ku Reedler. I have also completed Chavutti Thirumal massage practice in 2013, studying with Prabhat Menon. In 2016 I completed my teacher training in Yoga for Children, as well as further training in Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater and Assisted Yoga using Thai Yoga Massage with Kam Thye Chow.
