What my classes are like

I create a supportive space that is fun! I love to see students grow and develop. I try to encourage students to feel confident and promote mindfulness in their lives.

My journey into yoga

I have practiced yoga since my teens when I found it to be restorative and wonderful while suffering from long term illness, I loved it, it gave me energy and helped me relax, after following a career in fashion merchandising I decided I was not made for working in an office or working for someone else so I trained to become a yoga instructor and it was the best decision ever.

Part of practicing and teaching yoga is that you never stop learning, I continue to study different types of yoga including hatha, vinyasa flow, jivamutki and ashtanga. My new favourite is Rocket yoga, so much fun! Always try new things.

Being a mam of two boys means that I like to focus on being strong and fitting in as much practice as I can around the busy life of a parent, usually involving being on my mat with the kids climbing on me and the dog trying to steal my spot. I love to help new mamas regain their strength and heal themselves while being able to include their babies.

I am far from Instagram ready and love to provide a comfortable and fun environment for my students to thrive, if my class hasn’t involved some laughter then its been a rubbish one.

My yoga credentials

Sun Power Yoga 200hr training, Pregnancy Yoga training with Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Foundation Mat based Pilates. Yoga Alliance Chartered Level 2 Teacher.
