What my classes are like:

I teach Kids yoga classes on Wednesday afternoons at Kula.

Here lies a time for children to explore, play and have fun!
Through adventurous story telling, exciting games, creative tasks and playful movement, children enter a world of Asana, mindfulness and meditation.
Every activity will bring a new adventure, but has emerged from the underlying principles of yoga- such as the control of the breath, calming of the mind, and the physical postures/ Asana

My journey into yoga:

Yoga has always been a fundamental part of my practice, but particularly found a place in me during times that I was injured during my professional dance training. It was from this that I learnt the importance of connecting to the self, discovering how to move from within and how to allow the breath to guide you forwards.
My classes dedicate time and space towards such practices, with ideas that yoga is a practice that can benefit all bodies in one way or another.

My study and credentials:

My yoga journey led me to Bali in 2016, where through Yoga Alliance, I completed my Ashtanga Teacher Training. Since then, I have too completed my 50 hour Childrens’s yoga teacher training, and am currently finding myself teaching weekly Ashtanga and children’s yoga classes across Leeds. Having graduated from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance in July 2017, I remain in connection there, and teach weekly classes to dance students in training.
