Yoga Kula is very excited to announce we will be running a comprehensive 18 month Yoga Teacher Training Course which will start in January 2018.

For those who would like to know more about the course we are running an open day at Yoga Kula on September 2nd from 2.30–4.30pm.

Please feel free to attend for the whole 2 hours or just drop-in for part of the event. There’s no need to book in advance, this is a free event.

Breakdown of the day:

2.30–3.00pm: arrive at the studio for tea and an informal chat with teachers and each other. All attendees will be given an information pack about the Yoga Kula TTC.

3.00–3.30pm: meditation followed by a Q&A in the studio where you can ask Angela, Fabiano and Helen questions about life as a yoga teacher, running a busy studio and anything to do with the TTC course.

3.30–4.00pm: an introduction to teaching—Angela and Helen will break down a key pose and then give you the chance to teach some simple steps with a partner, giving you the chance to see if teaching is the right path for you.

4.00–4.30pm: time for reflection and informal discussion—why would you like to train as a teacher? What are you expecting from the course? What are your fears and worries? How can you start to prepare—hints and tips on what you can do to prepare for the course.

Feel free to attend the open day even if you are not planning on becoming a teacher but simply want to deepen your practice by taking this course, if you don’t have the 2 years experience at this stage but want to find out about teacher training on a future TTC cycle, or if you have a friend or family member who might be interested but cannot attend themselves and have asked you to attend on their behalf for feedback.
