Postnatal Yoga offers participants an opportunity to focus on themselves and begin to experience through movement, breath and stillness how the body and mind are feeling. These subtle, yet powerful Yoga practices support healing and rejuvenation of a tired body and a busy mind. This class is expertly designed to support a postnatal body and mind – whether your birth was 6 weeks or 6 years ago you are welcome to join us on the mat. We will focus on building core strength, reconnecting with your yoga practice (if you had one, if not developing a practice to suit your current lifestyle) and plenty of time built in for relaxation. 

  • Time out for movement, breath and deep relaxation which contribute towards physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Improved posture as we work on relieving tension and building strength.
  • Repair the body – we use specialised healing pelvic floor expressions to strengthen the core and re-knit abdominal muscles.
  • Rebuild flexibility and muscle tone.
