Deep Dive Nidra + Sound Bath.

Saturday 10th March

6:30pm—8pm

£20

Join Emma for a transformational energy evening. Experience vibrational healing with crystal singing bowls, chimes, various shamanic instruments and deep, relaxing yoga nidra.
Singing Bowls, drums and sound have been used for centuries to heal and restore mind, body and soul on a cellular level, and to create harmonies for meditation purposes.
Each Quartz crystal singing bowl and instrument is tuned to a different frequency which in turn resonates with a different part of the body, leaving you relaxed yet energised and grounded.
This special evening will also feature life force pranayama techniques, mantra and a guided Yoga Nidra to fully immerse you in the experience and expand your practice.
The intention of this workshop is to create a supportive space for insight into and the transformation of yourself through the use of meditative sound.
All mats, blankets, props will be provided.

What my classes are like
My classes aim to help students find mental and physical balance and stability with a focus on alignment and breathing. I also like to incorporate deeply meditative and grounding practices to calm and nourish the body.

My journey into yoga
I discovered and fell in love with yoga as a teenager; my first teacher was an inspirational Iyengar Yoga teacher who helped me form a dedicated practice. Since then I’ve maintained a regular practice to keep the balance and energy in my life whilst being a parent, a teacher and to cope with the everyday stresses and strains of modern life that we all have.

My study and credentials
I became 200-hour qualified yoga teacher back in 2008 with Brian Cooper at Yoga Alliance and later became a Chartered Level 2 qualified teacher. I’ve also learnt Ashtanga with Tim Feldman and Yin Yoga with Liz Stephenson-Payne which has broadened my perspective on the possibilities and philosophy of yoga.
I have been very lucky to study with the founder of the Yin Meridian approach to yoga; Sarah Powers and take part in a 5 day Yoga Alliance certified Yin immersion with Norman Blair. I will continue developing my anatomical knowledge with Julie Gudmersall and embark on a yoga intensive with the International teacher Donna Farhi. I also plan to expand my interest in Nada (sound meditation) with an introduction to sound therapy with Kath Reade.
