Ayurvedic Yoga Massage combines deep tissue massage with coordinated breath-work and yoga stretching. AYM is performed on a mat allowing for a full range of stretching. The deep tissue massage dissolves physical tension, while the assisted stretches and connection to breath realign the body and stimulate the natural flow of energy.

Ayurvedic oils and powders are utilised for their healing properties (only organic oils are used). This technique will help dissolve physical and emotional blocks, eliminate toxins from the body, promote correct posture, improve respiratory patterns and leave the receiver with a deep sense of well-being. This massage is ideal for yoga practitioners who want to free up joints and muscles to move more fluidly through the poses.

Angela is Yoga Kula’s resident massage therapist. She believes that by receiving regular AYM and other styles of massage the body becomes stronger, more flexible and looks and feels younger.
